Family first
Every decision starts with the question: does this make life easier for the child and the people holding them up?
Piper's K.I.D.S. began with a single family's experience of childhood illness — the appointments, the fear, the quiet costs no one warns you about. Today, we make sure no family has to walk that shoreline alone.
Her Story

Hey guys,
When I was little, I was diagnosed with leukemia. Like so many kids facing serious illnesses, my world changed overnight. But even during the hardest days, I was surrounded by incredible people who showed me kindness, compassion, and love. They taught me something I'll never forget — that even in life's darkest moments, there can still be light.
As I've gotten older, I've realized something about myself. I always try to find the good in every situation.
I know I have two choices. I can let something difficult define me, or I can choose to look for the purpose, the lessons, and the people it brings into my life. That doesn't mean every day is easy — it just means I believe there's always something worth holding onto.
That way of thinking changed everything for me.
As a teenager, I've been blessed to mentor younger children and other patients who are walking a journey I know so well. Some days they need someone to laugh with. Some days they need someone who simply understands. Being that person has become one of the greatest gifts of my life.
It also inspired my biggest dream.
I created Piper's KIDS because I believe every child deserves more than exceptional medical care. They deserve unforgettable childhood memories. They deserve opportunities to laugh, play, celebrate, and simply be kids instead of patients.
My hope is that every family who becomes part of Piper's KIDS feels seen, supported, and never alone. Whether we're creating memories, celebrating milestones, offering comfort, or simply showing up when it's needed most, I want every child to know they are stronger than they realize and that happiness can still be part of their story.
Because sometimes hope isn't about waiting for life to get easier. Sometimes hope is choosing to find the good anyway.
And that's exactly what I hope Piper's KIDS helps every family do.
Love,
Piper
Piper's K.I.D.S. exists because no family should have to choose between being by their child's side and keeping their household afloat. When illness or a developmental diagnosis arrives, it doesn't arrive alone — it brings travel, medical costs, missed paychecks and an ocean of paperwork.
We step into that gap with direct, practical help, and the ordinary moments of childhood that illness tries to take away.
